During 2023 Netonomics is heading an EU funded design project to create a cost optimized resilient Backbone and Access sea cable design to enable Gigabit connectivity thoughout the wider Stockholm archipelago. Several commercial mobile and fixed operators, communal fiber providers, and fiber associations will combine cables, to which an optimized minimum of new cables will be added to secure required resilience.
A significant part of the design project costs will be borne by Netonomics as we strive to contribute to a better connected and more civil society. Participating pro bono in the creation of a link network for mobile, fixed, and other types of communication in this densely populated and sometimes harsh area is a valuable joy.
